The third event of the 2008 WSOP started at noon today with right around 700 players.  Players began with 3k in chips and the blinds at 25/50.  Some people spotted in the field include Shannon Shorr, Dan “Stainley88″ Adams, Isaac Haxton, Brent “bhanks11″ Hanks, Justin Bonomo, Adam “adam_mc” McGregor, Thayer “Thay3r” Rasmussen, and Tony “Bond18″ Dunst.

We’ve already noticed a couple of stacked tables:

Orange 17 - Jason Gray, James “POKERPRO33″ Campbell, and Bryan Devonshire
Blue 11 - Michael “BOBCATSPEGAL” Spegal, Dewey Tomko, Eugene Todd, and Greg Raymer
Blue 14 - Phil “USCPHILDO” Collins and Rob “MrE2all” Edwards are seated next to each other, which will hopefully make for some interesting P5s showdowns.

Play has been underway for less than an hour, but Eric “Rizen” Lynch has already made an early exit.
