WSOP 2008
All of the players have cleared out of the room and the only action left is the tournament staff doing their end of day duties and getting everything set for tomorrow. As usual play will start at noon and with some 420+ players surviving the day ones there will be a full house in the Fontana Lounge and a solid number of players in the poker room as well.
So far the eliminations have been fairly slow, but the blinds start tomorrow at 500 / 1,000 with a 100 ante and some of the players that burned off large chunks of their 50k starting stacks will be feeling the pressure pretty early in the day.
Glen “Choron” Chorny won’t be one of the players back at the tables tomorrow. The EPT Grand Final champion was eliminated after becoming short stacked early on in day 1B play.
