Heads up with pocket aces Daniel Negreanu (right) had Barry Shulman all in on the K86. Daniel had raised preflop and was called. On the flop Shulman led out and Daniel moved all in only to be instantly called by Shulman. When the cards were turned up Daniel had the AA and needed to fade the flush draw the A5 of Shulman represented. No drama, no suspense, just the 2 on the river making Daniel visibly distressed.

The A on the river made a set for Negreanu but changed nothing. Shulman vaults from the brink of elimination to a hearty 7.7 million to 2.35 million chip lead. The blinds are still 30k / 60k 10k ante so Daniel still has plenty of room to mount a comeback.
