Steve “MrTimCaum” O’Dwyer was also sent home early. According to O’Dwyer he ran his KQ into T8 on a 97 6x board. Steve said he was “slowrolled” on his twitter page.
Dan “Wretchy” Martin and Christian “charder” Harder were other eliminations before the first break.
We’ve come across some interesting table draws early on. We spotted James “jcamby33″ Campbell for the first time this summer. The former #1 ranked player on pocketfives is at a table with Thayer Rasmussen. Jon “sketchy1″ Eaton and Andy “BadgerPro” Schultz are seated next to each other, which should make for some entertainment at the very least. Eaton is already on tilt after being ignored by the cocktail waiter three times.
David “Bakes” Baker and Mike “SirWatts” Watson are together over in the Brasilia Room, which is where you can find the most intriguing table draw of them all. Peter Eastgate and Ivan Demidov are seated side-by-side. One player at their table was searching for the ESPN cameras. Sorry pal, this event isn’t televised.
