Chris “sooooted” Vaughn got involved in a three-way all in in Level 12 of Event #2 and watched his tournament life end. At 1K/2K, a player in middle position shoved his last 16K and Vaughn moved in for 48K from th cutoff. The small blind had both covered and called with QQ. The short stack flipped over AK and Vaughn showed 88. A large crowd gathered to view the board display JJ739.

Across the room, Dom “piscopo1129″ Cuzzi’s (pictured at right) fortune turned in the opposite direction just moments later. Cuzzi three-bet all in for 28K and the original raiser reluctantly called. Cuzzi’s pocket tens were ahead of AJ until the flop brought AQ6. The turn brought a meaningless 9, but the T spiked on the river, shipping a pot of 60K to Cuzzi. Amazingly Cuzzi remained motionless the entire hand - even when the miracle river hit. He seems poised and fully determined to make a run in this event.
