For Bryan “badbeatninja” Devonshire his dip in chips was very short lived. He dropped to 45k, but almost immediately got back over 90k after busting Kenna James. He then won another huge pot that built his stack to around 180k when his pocket aces held up against another players pocket kings in a massive all in preflop pot.
The 180k stack in front of Devo is nice, but still nowhere near the massive mound help by Steven Begleiter (right). Begleiter started the day as the chip leader and has held the spot pretty much all day. He recently busted a short stacked Zach “CrazyZachary” Clark to build his stack to an impressive 330k. Begleiter had Zach all in preflop with his KQ against the pocket eights for Clark. A queen high flop ended the day for Clark and left Begleiter with the same smile that has been on his face for most of the tournament. Other players recently eliminated include Allen “AawwNutz” Carter, Steven “MrTimCaum” O’Dwyer, Michael “benvo123″ Benvenuti and Scott “R_A_Y” Montgomery.
Josh “Sdouble” Schlein has been maintaining a stack for the last few levels and had around 170k at last check putting him among the chip leaders. Carter “ckingusc” King recently cracked the 90k mark, his peak for the day. Players are starting the 600 / 1,200 blind level with a 100 chip ante and have that level plus one more to complete before the end of the day. Roughly 105 players remain going into the 4th level of play for the day (level 9).
