Turner, Mizzi and Schleger Eliminated

As day 2 progresses more and more large stacks are emerging, but as some players accumulate piles of chips it means other players are relegated either to a short stack or eliminated all together. Jon “PearlJammer” Turner (right) was eliminated in nasty fashion, while Sorel “Imper1um” Mizzi, Shane “Shaniac” Schleger and Devin “TranquilChaos” Porter have all been sent to the rail as well.
Turner was in great shape to double to 45k when John Phan opened a pot for 1k and Vinnie Vinh raised to 3,750. Turner looked down to find pocket aces and moved his 21k stack into the middle. Phan folded, but after tanking Vinh made the call with his AQ suited. By the turn Vinnie had found a way to make a flush though, overcoming Turner’s aces and sending Jon to the sidelines during the early stages of day 2 play.
Schleger was all in with a flush draw against Erik Seidel’s set of deuces, but instead of the flush completing for Shane things went the other direction and Seidel’s set turned into quads with the case deuce hitting on the turn, making the river card irrelevant and eliminating Schleger from the LAPC. Mizzi had been battling with a short stack for much of the tournament, and once his stack got down to critical level he wound up all in with his A3 against the AK of another player. The dominating ace held up to eliminate Mizzi. Porter was ousted from the tournament at the hands of Blake “Balla-B13″ Cahail.

8 Feldman bet 15k and after more than 5 minutes of thought his opponent finally tossed in 3 orange 5k chips to make a reluctant call. Once the last chip hit the felt Feldman turned over the AT for a flopped ace high flush and the other player mucked his hand.
