For Shannon Shorr his quick start faded off and everything started going the way of Yevgeniy “Atimos” Timoshenko (right). Timoshenko was able to win a devent pot against Christian “charder” Harder that gave him an almost 3 to 1 chip advantage over second place and since then he has continued to build his lead, recently eliminating Shannon Shorr in 5th place.
In the hand against Harder it was a battle of the blinds where Timoshenko raised to 480k from the small blind and Harder called from the big blind. On the A

flop Timoshenko bet 360k and Harder called. Both players checked the 7
turn and with the J
on the river Timoshenko bet 1,120,000. Harder just called with his A
J
that made two pair on the river which ended up saving him chips since Timoshenko had rivered a set with his J
J
. After dragging the pot Timoshenko was up to 16 million while Harder dropped to 5.5 million chips but was still the second largest stack.
After that Timoshenko continually picked up pots, most small, but on a regular enough basis to grind away at the other 4 players. He was able to win a pot at showdown, calling a bet from Shannon Shorr with top two pair on a board with potential for trips or a straight. Shorr only had a pair of eights in his hand and was basically bluffing the river. After taking those chips off Shannon the leading chip stack for Timoshenko grew to 19 million while Shorr dropped back to 3 million.
Not long later Shannon moved all in from the small blind for 2,620,000 and Timoshenko called from the big blind with pocket fours. Shorr had the 7
6
and the two were in a race, but Timoshenko continued to add to his stack after the A

board missed Shorr and left Shannon (left) with a 5th place finish for $408,550.
With the elimination of Shorr the chip stack for Timoshenko continued to inch upward, cracking the 20 million mark and giving him nearly a 6 to 1 lead over Harder in second place. Here is how the counts break down:
Yevgeniy “Atimos” Timoshenko - 22 million
Christian “charder” Harder - 4.1 million
Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier - 3.7 million
Ran Azor - 3.7 million
