He improved on his 5th place finish of last year and has reportedly surpassed both Jamie Gold and Phil Ivey on the all time tournament money winners list. In the interview thrust upon him within an instant of his defeat Negreanu was visibly and audibly shaken by the defeat, but talked about his resilience and never give up attitude no matter how many chips he had.
For Shulman the victory brings £801,603, the equivalent of around $1,280,000.
