David “The Maven” Chicotsky has been eliminated in 14th place in the $1.5K pot-limit hold’em tournament.
We caught Chicotsky putting in a re-raise of 45K more on top of seat six’s 17K opening raise with the blinds at 4K/8K. It folded around to the player in seat four, who then made a pot-sized re-raise. The raise was enough to essentially put Chicotsky all in, so he shoved the rest of his chips in. Chicotsky turned over K

, but he was dominated by his opponent’s A
Q
. The board ran out T

and The Maven was eliminated. He earned $9,919 for his finish.
Before Chicotsky’s bustout play had been very slow since the players returned from their last 20-minutes break. Turn cards have been few and far between as the players continue to play down to the final table tonight.
Jason “TheMasterJ33″ Dewitt is back near the top of the leader board with 310K while Ravi “govshark2″ Raghaven has 240K and David “DocSands” Sands has around 80K.
We’ve spotted several players railing Dewitt and Raghaven (although not necessarily both of them). The list includes Andy “BKiCe” Seth, Jason “treysfull” Mercier, Seth “grtwhitehoop” Fischer, Justin “fluffdog” Filtz and Brent “BHanks11″ Hanks.
WSOP EVENT #19: $2.5 6-MAX NLHE
Russell “rcrane082985″ Crane pushed the remainder of his stack in the middle with J
T
and was called by the A
9
of Joseph Serock. The 9

5
flop gave Serock a pair, but Crane held overs and an inside straight draw. The A
pushed the door closed a bit, now only an eight would keep Russell alive. The 6
slammed the door shut and Crane was eliminated in third place, taking home a healthy $220,633. Brock “t soprano” Parker is now heads-up with Serock, and they both have 4 million in chips. Parker chipped up early, but Serock just took down a 1.2 million chip pot to bring the match back to even. Brock is trying to ship his second WSOP bracelet this year.
WSOP 2009 EVENT #21 $3K HORSE
The bubble just burst in Event #21, but not before Shannon Shorr was eliminated. Barry Greenstein is very short after losing a 100K pot, but now that he is in the money he will pick up a few Player of the Year points to help him in some prop bets. The remaining P5ers include:
Stewart “Stuman123″ Yancik — 180K
Aaron “NDGrinder59″ Steury — 107K
Barry Greenstein — 30K
Mike “SirWatts” Watson — 25K
WSOP 2009 EVENT #23 $10K NL 2-7 Triple Draw
Event #23 is on a late dinner break, despite many players wishing to play through it. Jon “PearlJammer” Turner leads P5ers with 52K and Justin “BoostedJ” Smith is doing quite well with 46.5K himself.
Other counts at break include:
Sorrel “Imper1um” Mizzi — 27K
Anna “VietCutie” Wroblewski — 25K
Barry Greenstein — 22K
Shawn “sbuck21″ Buchanan — 17.5K
Barry’s stack has only blinded down 8K from a 30K starting stack, and if he busts in the HORSE he will surely sign his book quickly and hop into the 2-7.
