Tables around the Brasillia Room are starting to empty as the winners are being determined in the first round of the $1.5K limit hold’em shootout event.
We haven’t seen any PocketFivers advance to the second round just yet (though we might have missed someone), but several players are closing in on tomorrow’s play and the money. [...]

At first it looked like Table 72 was breaking, which didn’t make sense. Only one player, Steve Zolotov, has been eliminated, and all the other tables are filled.

We didn’t catch the progress of every PocketFiver still alive in the $1.5K limit hold’em shootout event before the players left on their one hour dinner break, but we did our best to provide as many updates as possible below.

Many of the tables in the Brasilla Room, which is playing host to round one of the $1.5K limit hold’em shootout, are still eight and nine handed, including the table belonging to Jimmy “gobboboy” Fricke (pictured at left).
Fricke raised before the flop and was re-raised by the player in seat two with the limits at [...]

Jesse “JMaster30″ Cohen (pictured at left) has bust from the $1.5K PLO Hi-Low event. We arrived at his table just in time to hear him wishing the rest of his table good luck, but he filled us in on the details later.
