There are just a few tables throughout the Amazon and Brasilia rooms where Round One tables of the $1.5K NLHE Shootout event are taking place. We watched as several P5ers either flourished or floundered in their heads-up match.  Here are some of the big hands from the past hour of play:

As the $1.5K NLHE Shootout went into the second break, we saw that several tables were already completed while several others were quickly progressing towards a winner.  Here are some of the P5ers still playing in the event:

On our first walk through the $1.5K pot-limit hold’em we found Darryll “DFish” Fish, Jeremiah “Believer82″ Vinsant, Hunter “The_Hunt_D” Frey, and David “The Maven” Chicotsky all seated at the same table.

The final table is set in the $2.5K six-max no-limit hold’em event, and three of the six finalists are PocketFivers. Brock “t soprano” Parker, Clayton “Clayton27″ Newman (pictured at left) and Russell “rcrane082985″ Crane have all moved there chip stacks over the ESPN final table area and will resume play shortly.
