The board in the room reads a total number of players entered at 536 and is climbing as late registrants finish up their business at the cashier’s cage, making the field much larger than it looked like it would be after yesterdays small turnout. The WPT Championship will still come out short of last year’s numbers but not by a huge amount.

With over 300 players entering today and no more satellites going on the Fontana lounge is full to capacity with tournament players and there are more tables of play in the poker room. Louis “MrBeeks” Werman, Jason “JP OSU” Potter, Jon “pokertrip” Friedberg, Shannon Shorr and Kevin “BeL0WaB0Ve” Saul are a few of the players in the field today.
