With Leo “Superfluous Man” Wolpert’s (pictured left) victory in the $10K Heads-Up NLHE event, we are inching closer and closer to ten P5er bracelets. We’re sitting at eight right now, but there are a couple of events resuming today that give us hope for #9, #10, or at least a good final table sweat.
The 19 players left in the $2K NLHE event will return at 1PM to play down to a winner. We’ve got several P5ers left in that field including Eric “whItE_mAmbA” Ladny (550K), Peter “Nordberg” Feldman (485K), Clark “snake8484″ Hamagami (367K), and Daniel “amichaikk” Makowsky (177K). The current chip leader is Jason Boynes with 976K.
We’ve also still got hope in the form of Pat “TorontoToro” Pezzin in the $10K LHE Championship event. He is one of twelve players returning today to play down to a winner and is currently sitting towards the bottom of the chip counts with 300K.
The $1.5K NLHE that started yesterday will be back for more today as well. Action resumes in that event at 2PM. We would like to send out a big apology to Devin “tranquilchaos” Porter. We accidentally reported him as eliminated yesterday and, as you’ll see from the chip counts below, he is still in with 38.8K. Here are some other chip counts of P5ers remaining in the field:
Cody “thugmoneymkr” Slaubaugh - 140.2K
Eric “basebaldy” Baldwin - 96.3K

Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger - 20.7K
Zachary “CrazyZachary” Clark - 15.2K
We’ve also got one new event kicking off today: a $5K PLO event. It appears we will have a small crowd for this fun event. Just so you are aware, it is one of those kind-0f-a-rebuy-but-not-really events in which players receive a grand total of 15K in chips that can be introduced in 5K chunks whenever they see fit during the first two levels.
