Meanwhile, at Table 13, Kevin “BeL0WaB0Ve” Saul check-raised Amit “Amak316″ Makhija on a flop of KQ3. Taking plenty of time to think, Makhija called. The K came on the turn, and Saul didn’t hesitate to bet out 20k. Amit asked Saul how much he had behind him; Saul answered, “About 50K.” Amit eventually called, the 9 came on the river and both checked it down. Amit showed KT and Saul mucked, claiming two pair.
One table over, Marco “CrazyMarco” Johnson and Vivek “psyduck” Rajkumar found themselves in a monster pot. Vivek had already committed 50K to the pot, when Marco shoved for his tournament life on a board of ATQ33. Vivek took to the tank and asked the dealer to count chips; the count showed that Marco had shoved for 110K. Stating that he had AK beat, Vivek began to attract quite a crowd of spectators as tablemates Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, David Benyamine, and Sorel “Imper1um” Mizzi (pictured at right) watched in silence. Their short stacks falling victim to the increasing blinds, Eric “Rizen” Lynch and Isaac Haxton did not finish the level, though Isaac did find some mystery car keys. All theoretical debate of +EV/-EV ended as Table 13 broke up and Shaun Deeb took his short stack with him, only to be put all in with pocket 4s against AK. An ace came to dash Deeb’s hopes of winning the PLHE bracelet.
