Steve “MrSmokey1″ Billirakis was the latest to head out of the Amazon Room from the $40,000 No Limit Hold ‘em event and his exit was painful. With the blinds at 3K/6K, Phil Galfond opened to 16K in middle position and Billirakis (pictured at left) raised to 46K from the small blind. Galfond pondered a move for a few minutes before moving all in, having Billirakis covered. Steve snap called and his AK was in great shape against the AQ of Galfond. After a safe flop Galfond peeled a queen on the turn and the A on the river didn’t help Billirakis’ hand, sending him home in frustration.

Mike Matusow continued his onslaught of online players at Table 68 — this time it was Chris “moorman1″ Moorman that played victim. With blinds at 3K/6K Matusow raised to 16K from under the gun and Moorman made the call from the big blind. On a flop of 974, Moorman check-called a bet of 21K. He checked again when the T fell on the turn and Matusow moved all in. Moorman called instantly and showed 77, but found out the bad news when he saw Mike’s TT for a higher set. The river bricked for Moorman and he was eliminated.

Adam Junglen was yet another casualty in the past level. With the blinds still at 3K/6K with an ante of 500, Junglen had less than 20 big blinds when he went all in on the button with a pair of sixes. Unfortunately for Junglen, Michael DeMichele picked up jacks in the small blind and called. The board of J9855 was no help and Junglen was eliminated.

Even after Junglen’s departure, table 66 remained stacked with Phil Ivey, Nam Le, Lex “RaSZi” Veldhuis, Sorel “Imper1um” Mizzi, Adam “Bakes” Baker, David “Raptor517” Benefield and Dani “Ansky” Stern still seated at the table with DeMichele.
