Q and bet when checked to. Shannon’s opponent called and the river brought the 2. Shorr’s opponent checked-called a bet again and mucked when Shannon tabled KJ for the nut straight. He is now around average with 15K.
Isaac Haxton has gone MIA, and we’re assuming he’s joined the ranks of busted players.

Jordan “Octavian_C” Rich wanted us to add a disclaimer to a hand he player earlier in Level 18:
“I could have and should have folded. But I didn’t.”
Rich opened for a raise from under the gun with the blinds at 4K/8K ante 1K and the player on the button moved all-in for 67K more. This is the point where Jordan says he played badly and could have gotten away from the hand, but he instead decided to call with pocket fives, which were behind his opponent’s pocket jacks. The jacks held and Jordan dropped down to around 200K after the hand. He has since chipped back up to around 290K going into the latest break.
Joe “Dyzalot” Morneau continues to build his stack. He won a huge amount of chips after winning a race holding 7
7 against A
9 on a ten high board. He had around 556K going into break while Jordan “scarface_79″ Smith is still in good shape with 416K.

With the elimination of Steve “MrSmokey1″ Billirakis at the hands of Perry Friedman, the burden of carying the P5s torch is left to Justin “Boosted_J” Smith and Justin alone. With 21 players remaining Smith is sitting on around 375K and is in the top five chip counts.
