Casey “ccmuney” Coleman has been keeping himself busy at his table these past two levels. First, with the blinds at 600/1,200, he made a big call for 16K on the river with a board reading 7-6-3-4-4 board with A3and his opponent showed KQ. However, he then lost a 100K pot when he and another player got it all in on a 5-6-7 board with Coleman holding pocket eights to his opponent’s 7-10. Unfortunately, the other player rivered a 10, dropping his chip stack back down again. After doubling up, Coleman went on what his friends railing him called “the standard Casey Coleman” card rush. During this rush of cards, he managed to dispatch of a couple of players and now his table is 3-handed going into the break.
Craig “MrCasino” Gray is also playing 3-handed, but unlike Casey, he is nursing a short stack and looking for a good place to double up. A few tables away, Tom “SBRounder” West is heads up with his opponent with just over a 2-1 chip advantage.
The $2K Omaha 8OB event continues with 3 tables remaining. The players, which still include Scott Clements and Jimmy Fricke, will be playing down to the final table tonight.
