Shaniac Regrets Limping With Kings

Schleger and two other players saw a flop of T
75. The other players checked and Schleger bet 8k only to be min-raised by the player in the big blind. The third player folded and Schleger re-raised to 56k. The big blind re-raised yet again to 135k and Schleger called putting himself all in. The big blind showed the 75
for a flopped two pair and Schleger’s kings failed to catch up knocking him out of the tournament.
Over in the $5k Mixed Hold Em event, Jon “PearlJammer” Turner was involved in a interesting hand during a section of limit hold em. Turner (on the button) and one other player limped into the pot preflop along with both blinds. The flop came QJ4, both blinds checked, and the next player bet. Turner called and then the player in the small blind raised. Everyone else folded to Turner who called. The 6 came on the turn, the small blind bet and Turner again called. The river brought a 6 and the small blind bet again only to be raised by Turner. The small blind called and Turner tabled the 65 for a busted flush draw that turned into trip sixes. The small blind mucked and Turner scooped up the pot.
One table over from Turner, Jimmy “gobboboy” Fricke (pictured at left) was part of another interesting limit hand. After multiple raises preflop, three players saw a flop of KJ6. One player bet and another called before Fricke raised. Both players called the raise and they all saw the 2 on the turn. Action checked to Fricke who bet and again both of the other players called. A 2 came on the river and again they let Jimmy bet, only this time both of the other players folded allowing Jimmy to rake in a large pot for one measly bet on the river.
