It took just 15 minutes after the dinner break for Grayson “gray31″ Ramage for get involved in two separate all-in confrontations at his table. Luckily the one that he lost didn’t cost much. With the blinds at 15K/30K ante 4K Kenny Tran moved all in for his remaining 250K and Ramage called from the big blind. Tran flipped over 6
6
and Ramage tabled A
9
. The dealer rolled over the door card, which was the A
to give Ramage the lead, but then slowly exposed the 6
and 4
to give Tran a set and control of the hand. The J
turn and 7
river were no help to Ramage and Tran doubled back to around 1/4 of the tournament average.
Just minutes later Ramage and an opponent saw a flop of J
T
5
and the player moved all in. Ramage called with A
J
, which was way in front of K
J
. The A
on the turn sealed the deal for Ramage as he sent the player home. Grayson now has 3 million chips to work with.
Ludovic “Cutsss” Lacay is the new tournament chip leader after delivering an ugly beat to the former chip leader. We couldn’t see what happened from across the room but Lacay’s reaction after the river card fell said it all. We learned that the Frenchman was all in with pocket kings against pocket aces preflop and spiked a king on the river to win a pot worth 5.6 million.
Frank “Round42″ Rusnak took a hit to his stack shortly after returning from dinner break. He opened for a raise to 70K at the 15K/30K ante 4K blind level and Billy “Patrolman35″ Kopp called in position. Both players checked the Q
T
5
flop and Frank led out for 105K when the 4
fell on the turn. Kopp called and the two saw the 4
fall on the river. Rusnak checked to Kopp who bet out 230K. After a moment of thought Rusnak called and mucked when Billy showed J
T
for a pair of tens. After the hand Rusnak dropped to just under one million chips while Kopp moved up to around 5.3 million.
