Andy “BKiCe” Seth (pictured at left) and Glenn “TheGFactor” McCaffrey just battled in a very long hand in the $1.5K NLHE event. We caught up to the hand on the river, and with the board reading A

McCaffrey bet around 20K. Seth proceeded to raise to 46K, and then after some though Glenn came over the top announcing all in. The decision was for most if not all of Andy’s chips, and he went into the tank for a long, long time. After five minutes, Todd Lewis got up from Seat 1 and came over to discuss the hand and other things. After five more minutes, Andy had stood up, sat down, stood up, removed his hoodie and then sat down again. His thought process looked brutally painful.
“I have no idea what’s going on,” he announced to the table. “I’m sorry guys. You have the right to call the clock if you want.”
None of the players called clock though, allowing Andy to think through the situation even more. At one point the dealer shift ended and the dealer at the table commented on how long it was taking. “It has been over ten minutes,” he said. Andy shot the dealer a shocked look. “That is way out of line,” he told him.
Todd agreed, but confessed if he didn’t like Andy, he probably would have called the clock. “I have never seen a hand this long,” he told us.
After close to 15 minutes, Andy called the clock on himself. A floorman swung by and counted down. McCaffrey did not say a word or even move during this whole time.. The floorman reached zero and Andy’s hand was declared dead. He showed a T
, and mucked. Glenn started breathing again and scooped the pot.
Andy is still has an average stack, but that hand took a lot out of him.
A couple of P5ers who were very strong to start the day were eliminated before dinner break. Darryll “DFish” Fish and Cory “UGOTPZD” Carroll have have hit the rail despite having peaks over 200K today. Dan “Wretchy” Martin and Devin “tranquilchaos” Porter busted from the tournament as well.
Aditya “Intervention” Agarwal (pictured at right) is still alive and well. We caught up with him in a hand where the board read 8

. Agarwal led out for 9.5K and an opponent in the blinds called. The Q
fell on the turn, and Agarwal again led. This time for a hefty 28.5K. His opponent thought for a moment before throwing five orange chips in the pot for 25K. The dealer informed him that he had shorted the pot, and the man then added the additional 3.5K. The river was the 6
and without hesitation Agarwal fired a third bullet. 72.5K was the bet, but this time there was no call. Aditya scooped the pot and is now above 300K.
David “The Maven” Chicotsky, Craig “MrCasino” Gray, Todd “koolkeith13″ Lewis and Jeff “mrrain” Banghart remain as well.
The field has been reduced to 72 players. The minimum payout is now $5,028, but every player is surely eying the $607,256 being awarded to first place.
WSOP EVENT #3: $5K PLO H/L
With the completion of level three a short time ago players in the $5K Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo event were forced to cash in their remaining rebuy chips, meaning the latest chips counts represent all of a player’s available chips.
Jason “treysfull21″ Mercier (pictured at left)has made a nice comeback in the event. He used up his rebuy chips early and was down to his final 3K before running his stack up to its current 22K. We caught the end of a hand involving Mercier with the board reading K

. There was no betting on the end and Mericier said, “trips.” His K

was good enough to take the small pot.
Mercier’s table recently broke, but he had been seated at the same able as Kyle “kcannon” Cannon. Before the break Cannon raised to 700 pre-flop and got two callers. The flop was A

. Both players checked and Cannon bet 1.5K. One player got out of the way, but the player in seat seven moved all in. Cannon made the call and the hands were turned up:

The turn was the 2

Here are some other approximate chip counts from just after the rebuy period ended:

Senovio “Dorsal Fin” Ramirez - 29K
Shannon Shorr - 25K

Justin “Boosted J’ Smith - 20K
Scott “BigRiskky” Clements - 13K

WSOP EVENT #25: $2.5K OMAHA H/L and STUD H/L
Blake “Balla-B13″ Cahail has busted from the $2.5K mixed Omaha and Stud H/L event about 20 players short of the money. With the limits at 2.5K/5K during a round of Omaha, Cahail called a bet on the K

flop. The turn was the K

for quads.
Jon “PearlJammer” Turner had an above-average stack of 75K at last check while Pat “TorontoToro” Pezzin was left with about 20K after losing a hand during a round of stud.
WSOP 2009 Event #24 $1.5K NLHE
Jason “JCarver” Somerville is now four-handed at the $1.5K NLHE Shootout event being played at the secondary feature table, and is third and chips with over a million. The chip leader, Andrew Margolis, has 1.4 million. There has been a lot of preflop action and very few showdowns. Somerville has been active, and, with the blinds at 12K/24K/3K, there is a lot of room for the remaining four to play. It could be a while before we have a champion.
