In the span of just two hands Joe Sebok (pictured left) went from 260K to 750K. First, a player in early position raised to 26K with the blinds at 5K/10K ante 1K and a player in late position reraised to 86K total. Sebok then moved all-in from the big blind for an additional 172K, the initial raiser folded, and the reraiser went in the tank. After a minute or two of thought, Sebok’s opponent called with Q
7
, which was live against Joe’s A
K
. The 6
5
4
flop gave the other player an open-ended straight draw and the 7
on the turn gave him the lead in the hand. Sebok looked resolved and began to prepare to head out of the Amazon Room until the K
peeled off on the river giving him a better pair and the 525K pot.
Joe didn’t even have time to stack his chips before he got involved in the very next hand. Ashley “actyper” Cheung raised in early position and Sebok called from the blinds. The flop came down Q
Q
6
and Sebok checked to Cheung who moved all-in for 183K total into what looked to be a 60K pot. Joe thought for quite a while, stacked his chips to give himself a better idea of how much he had, and called with J
J
. Cheung had T
T
and needed one of the two tens left in the deck to stay alive. However, when the turn came 7
and the river Q
Joe’s jacks held and Cheung was eliminated. Sebok is now sitting right at average stacj going into the second break of the day with 835K.
Jamie “The New” Robbins (pictured right) also doubled up this past hour, but we unfortunately weren’t around to catch the action. Thankfully, Robbins filled us in on how he limped into a pot in early position after another player limped under the gun. It ended up being limped 5-ways with a K-Q-6 flop. Robbins led for 40K, it folded around to the under the gun limper who raised to 95K and Robbins moved all-in for around 650K more. The other player called with A-K for top pair top kicker while Jamie held K-Q for top two pair. The kings and queens held and Jamie is now sitting with 1.4 million.
Mike “MikeSix” Minetti got his double up courtesy of another P5er, Steve “19FMzadester” Levy. The two players got it all-in preflop in a 600K pot with Levy holding A
K
to Minetti’s 9
9
. Minetti looked good on the 5
4
3
flop, but Mike couldn’t help but notice that his opponent picked up some additional straight draw outs. When the A
fell on the turn, Mike stood up and prepared to leave as the ESPN cameras surrounded the table to catch the action. The 9
on the river surprised Minetti so much that he actually jumped backwards a little and stood there stunned before he realized he survived his double up. He now has 530K while Levy is sitting right at 1 million chips.
Blair “blur5f6″ Hinkle lost about 1/6th of his chip stack when he got it all-in preflop for a 420K pot from the blinds against a late position raiser holding A
6
to the other player’s 6
6
. The sixes held as the board ran out K
Q
2

and Blair dropped to right at one million chips.
Craig “craigthedeac” Boyd (pictured left) slipped back below the one million chip mark during the past level after losing a coinflip to a short stack at his table. Boyd’s pocket jacks were up against A
K
, and while the 9
3
7
looked great for Boyd, the K
on the turn all but ended things. The 2
river was no help and a pot worth around 450K was sent across the table from Boyd.
Owen “ocrowe” Crowe continues to get involved in big pots in the back of the Amazon Room. We watched as Crowe raised to 27K in middle position and two players called. On the A
J
7
flop Crowe checked and the other two players checked behind. The turn was the A
. Crowe led out for 65K and one player called. On the 2
river Crowe fired out a bet of 150K and his opponent slowly pushed out enough for a call. He shook his head as Crowe turned up A
3
for trip aces, good enough to take down a pot worth 530K.
Casey “sobizzle21″ Sobczewski got the last of his chips in preflop against Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger holding K-Q to Andrew’s A
9
. The ace high held as the board ran out jack high and Casey was eliminated. Joining him on the rail this level are Jeff Papola and Jordan “Octavian_C” Rich.
