Senovio “Dorsal Fin” Ramirez (pictured at left) and Jordan “Octavian_C” Rich (pictured below right) have officially made it to the final table of the $1.5K Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better with nine players remaining. Sebastian Ruthenberg was recently eliminated. Rich was second in chips with 775K entering the final 10. Ramirez has 230K with the average at 413K.
Ramirez stack has been on a roller coaster today. Another short-stacked player on the button raised to 30K with the blinds at 8K/15K and limits of 15K/30K. Ramirez went into the tank in the big blind, at one point saying, “I really don’t know what to do here.”
Eventually he decided to call and the flop was A

. The button bet and Senovio stood up before deciding to put the other player all-in. Ramirez turned over A

Ramirez was left with just about 60K in his stack a short time later when this hand happened. He raised to before the flop and the player in seat four the same short-stacked player in seat four called. The flop was J

The same two players tangled yet again later, leaving one player with just his chip and his chair. Ramirez was one of four players to call a raise before the T

. Luu checked again, seat four bet, Senovio called and the other players folded. The river was the 5
, and after seat four bet, Ramirez went all in for his final 28K. He was called and promptly said, “Nut. Nut,” before showing his A

. He collected more than 250K in the pot, and his opponent was left with just a 5K chip and busted a short time later.
He lost 110K in a pot a short time later when another player doubled through him.
Rich meanwhile has been around the top of the leader board since about an hour into play. We’ll be able to keep a closer eye on both players now that the field is down to one table. Also sitting at the final table is Freddy Deeb and Luu, who won this event last year.
Rich took a pot off Deeb near the beginning of ten-handed play with the blinds at 10K/20K and limits of 20K/40K. Rich raised two off the button and was called by Deeb in the small blind. The flop was K

. Deeb bet, Rich raised and Deeb called. The players checked the 8
turn and the J
river, and Rich’s A-Q-8-2 was good enough to win the pot.
WSOP EVENT #4: $1K NLHE
Jimmy “gobboboy” Fricke (pictured at left) just made a sick call in the blue section of the Amazon Room. Preflop, the action folded to him on the button and he min-raised to 400. The big blind called, and the flop came Q

. Fricke’s opponent bet 600, and Jimmy called. The turn was the 7
, and the action went check, check. The river came the 3
, and the big blind bet 3K, all in. Fricke went into the tank, and eventually called flipping over K-7. His opponent mucked, and was eliminated. Jimmy has now amassed over 12K in chips.
We caught up with Shaundle “CrAzYSiXeS66″ Pruitt during a hand in the Miranda Room. One opponent shoved all in from middle position after a limp in front, and the action folded to Pruitt in the small blind. He sweated his two cards and announced, “I’m all in,” covering his opponent. The big blind and limper folded, and Pruitt turned over Q

. He was racing against A

. The flop fell A

, and Shaundle fell behind. Pruitt was shocked though, when the Q
spiked on the turn. “Here comes the ten,” he said. But instead the 2
came, and Pruitt eliminated his opponent. He now stands at 12.2K
Dan “MrSp0ck” Martin was recently eliminated when he and another player got it all-in preflop in a 12K pot with Martin holding pocket fives to the other player’s AQ. The fives failed to hold and Dan headed home for the day.
Other chip counts include:
Steve “time4badbeat” Wagner - 12.7K
Seth “Grtwhitehoop” Fischer - 7.6K
WSOP EVENT #2: $40K NLHE
The $40K event is down to its final five players after the eliminations of Lex “RaSZi” Veldhuis and Alec “traheho” Torelli in 7th and 6th place respectively. Veldhuis’ A-7 couldn’t catch up with the pocket kings of Greg Raymer. Torelli was eliminated at the hands of Isaac Haxton when his A

couldn’t beat Haxton’s A
T
. Veldhuis earns $277,940 for his finish while Torelli will take home $329,730.
Raymer continues to run white hot and is currently the chip leader while Justin Bonomo and Dani “Ansky” Stern are the two short stacks.
