Jordan “Octavian_C” Rich (pictured at left) has busted out of Event #3, finishing in sixth place and earning $40,612.
While it wasn’t his final hand, Rich lost most of his chips in a pot with Joy Reslock. Reslock raised on the button before the flop and was re-raised by Rich. Reslock called and the players saw a Q

flop. Rich led out for a bet and Relock raised. Rich called and the 7
came on the turn. Jordan checked this time and called a bet from Reslock. The 7
fell on the river. After the betting Rich had just 35K left, and both players turned over their hands:

Reslock: A

Reslock scooped the pot with her A-2-5-6-7 low and queens and sevens for the high.
After the hand, Rich thought two of the players were talking about his play after the hand, and he went back and forth with chipleader Ed Smith for a while. Rich wanted to know what Smith had said, but Smith insisted it was nothing. Finally Rich said, “If you think I’m playing bad here, we should play in a cash game after,” before the floor stepped in and reminded everyone to focus on playing cards.
Rich split a couple pots before ending up all in before the flop against defending champion Thang Luu, who has made an impressive run to reach the final table of this event for three consecutive years.

WSOP EVENT #4: $1K NLHE
When we reached Table 19 in the Amazon Room, Phil “USCPhildo” Collins (pictured at right) had raised 3525 all in. His opponent tanked and counted out the call. After a good minute, he splashed the chips in the middle, turning over 9

. Only a non-spade ace or king could help Phil, and he found neither. With a Q
on the turn and the 4
on the river, Collins was eliminated.
Collin said after he made a few errant calls. “I kept trying to trap with kings,” he told us, “and aces would flop. But I was like, ‘Eh, they probably don’t have it. I call.’”
Jason “JCarver” Somerville busted roughly 30 minutes into Level 7. Somerville told us he attempted a two-barrel bluff, which failed, and it left him with 17 big blinds (about 5K). He pushed the remainder of his stack in the middle with A-10, and was called by A-J and K-J. Somerville did not improve with the board and hit the rail.
The Orange Section of the Amazon Room is now home to a couple of P5ers, including Shaundle “CrAzYSiXeS66” Pruitt, Brock “t_soprano” Parker and Steve “whitealroker” Bent. Their chip counts are 20K, 18K and 10K respectively. On his way to the Amazon Room is Steve “time4badbeat” Wagner. He just bagged 13.5K in chips when his table in Brasilia broke.
Other P5ers remaining in Event #4 include:
Justin “fluffdog” Filtz - 22.2K
Brock “t_soprano” Parker - 20K
Andrew “tiltyjoker” Lee - 14K (pictured at left)
Mike “WiscoMurray” murray - 14K
Jimmy “gobboboy” Fricke - 10.5K
Bryan Micon - 6.5K
Seth “grtwhitehoop” Fischer - 6K
Jon “pokertrip” Friedberg - 3K
Recent eliminations include Tracey “xtrACEy” Nguyen, Devin “looneyde” Looney, and Lauren “locoenlacabeza” Kling.
