‘REpeattillRich’ Goes Broke by Rachel on 06.29.09, 9:06 pm

With the blinds at 100/200 with a 25-chip ante, Adam “REpeattillRich” Johnson and two other players saw a flop of T93 and they all checked. The turn was the J. The first player to act checked and Johnson bet 600. Seat three folded and the other player raised. Adam moved all in quickly and the other player called. Johnson turned over J-10, but he was beat by the 7-8 of his opponent and was eliminated.

Zachary “CrazyZachary” Clark was as low as 2K earlier in the day, but he is now sitting at just above average with 10K.  We missed the preflop action, but watched as the flop came down KJT and the player in the big blind checked.  The player under the gun bet out 900 and Clark moved all-in for around 3K more.  The player in the big blind called and the player under the gun deliberated for a while before folding.  Zachary showed AQ for a flopped Broadway straight and the other player showed QT for the open-ended straight draw.  The turn and river were blanks and Clark scooped the pot to bring him up above average.

WSOP EVENT #52: $3K NLHE TRIPLE CHANCE

The players in the $3K just returned from their first break of the day. There are 90 players left and 81 will make the money. Play has slowed as the money bubble nears.

Jason “JCarver” Somerville raised to 5.8K from the cutoff and the player on the button re-raised to 12.5K. Somerville then moved all in for another 39K on top. The player on the button thought briefly before mucking his hand.

Jason “TheMasterJ30″ Dewitt has been on a rush of late. He is up to over 350K.

WSOP 2009 Event #51: $1.5K NLHE

After doubling up another player and then getting the remainder of his chips in with pocket jacks against another player’s A-5 only to have them hit an ace on the turn, Josh “SDouble” Schlein was eliminated from the $1.5K NLHE event in 12th place.  He earned $56,751 for his finish.  They are down to ten players now and Owen “ocrowe” Crowe (1.2 million) and Steven “19fmszadester” Levy (1.9 million) are still in the running for the bracelet.
