The 4k / 8k 1k ante level kicked up the pace of action, with 5 eliminations coming in the 60 minutes of play at that level with a few more almost eliminations. Men Nguyen was all in twice in the span of three hands but was able to double through Jason “treysfull21″ Mercier twice to stay alive in the tournament. Before doubling Nguyen twice Mercier was able to get the best of Christain “CKRUEL” Kruel, eliminating him in 30th place for the £21,142 when his A6 held up against the KQ of Kruel.
Christain “charder” Harder (pictured right in blue at the feature table) was seen exiting the main feature table and the official books show Harder finishing in 29th place for the same £21,142 (approximately $33,500). With Steve Zolotow (32nd), Tommy Pavlicek (31st) and John Kabbaj (28th) also all eliminated the tournament has been paused for a redraw. The 27 remaining players will get all new seats. Table one is in what they are calling the Flame room, in reference to the bar area it is near. Table two is the downstairs main feature table and the third table is the one centered in the upstairs balconey area.
Mercier started the day at the secondary feature table in the Flame room and has had his ups and downs. Just before the redraw he was able to eliminate Kruel but then lost two all ins to Men Nguyen. In the first Mercier raised to 20k and Nguyen called from the small blind with only 49k behind. Barry Shulman was in the big blind and pondered the decision promting Men to quip “Waters good Barry,” in his unique accent. Shulman passed and before the J

flop had registered in the minds of most at the table Nguyen had said “All in, all you can eat baby” and moved his chips into the middle. Mercier called almost as quickly, though without any fancy borrowed catchphrases. Mercier had the 9

and his middle pair was well ahead of the K

but the Q
on the turn gave an excited and vocal Nguyen more outs. “Yes Baby,” he screamed as the J
hit on the river giving him a flush. A silent Mercier counted out the chips to match Nguyens all in and pushed them to the middle.
A few hands later Mercier raised to 19k and Nguyen again called. On the J

flop Jason checked to Men who bet 35k. Mercier (left) moved all in covering Nguyen who quickly made the call for a total post flop stack of 131k. Nguyen started calling for face cards as soon as he saw that his A

was up against the open ended 5

of Mericer. The board paired with the 4
on the turn and the T
brought another clap, shout and jump from Nguyen. After doubling Men twice Mercier calmly told Andre “aakkari” Akkari and Eric “P3achy_keen” Liu, the two players on his right as he was headed into the big blind, that he had 197k remaining as they looked inquisitively at his stack.
Akkari was able to move all in over the top of a 20k opening raise from Barry Shulman to win a pot before Mercier was back involved in the action at the table. He again raised to 20k, this time from the button and from the small blind Peter Gould called. On the A

Gould again bet, this time 45k. Mercier again called and his A

was enough to win the pot adding some chips back to his stack.
