It didn’t take long after Grayson “gray31″ Ramage (pictured left) relocated to the same table as Jordan “scarface_79″ Smith for the two P5ers to clash in a pretty susbstantial pot. With the blinds at 8K/16K ante 2K Jordan raised to 43K in middle position, the player on his immediate left called, the button called, Ramage called from the small blind, and the big blind called as well. The whole heap of ‘em checked around on the Q

flop and Ramage led out for 90K when the 5
on the turn put a possible flush out there. Smith was his only caller and the two went heads-up to the river, which was the 2
. Ramage checked, Smith bet out 200K, and Grayson thought briefly before calling. Ramage turned up just the A
and Smith showed K
J
for a king high flush. Grayson mucked his second card while Jordan scooped the pot and upped his chip count to 1.54 million.
Billy “Patrolman35″ Kopp picked up a big pot when a shorter stacked opponent got it all-in preflop holding Q
Q
to Kopp’s A
A
. The A
J
8
was kind to Billy and the 5
left his opponent drawing dead. The river was an inconsequential J
to give Kopp aces full and boost his stack to 3.5 million.
Frank “Round42″ Rusnak, who was moved to Kopp’s table (which also boasts Joe Hachem, Peter Eastgate, JC Tran, and Dennis Phillips), has been moving in the opposite direction. First Tran opened for a raise to 54K from middle position, then Rusnak 3-bet to 105K total from the button. The player in the small blind 4-bet an additional 250K and Tran, who had around 350K behind his initial raise, went in the tank. He eventually folded what looked like a big ace from the rail and Rusnak was forced to lay it down as well.
A few hands later Rusnak raised from the cutoff, Kopp called from the small blind, and Phillips called from the big blind. Kopp and Phillips checked to Frank on the T

flop and Frank bet out 77K. Billy folded while Phillips called. The turn was the 5
and Phillips checked to Frank again. Rusnak bet out 165K and, after much thought, Phillips called. The river was the A
and Phillips checked a third time. Rusnak debated betting for a couple of minutes before checking behind. Phillips showed J

for a pair of eights and Rusnak mucked, leaving himself with 375K.
Jamie “The New” Robbins tracked us down and told us about a pot that cost him a good portion of his stack. Robbins opened with a preflop raise and a player moved all in for 360K. Action folded back to Robbins, who make the call with A-K and was up against Q-J. Robbins was left drawing thin when a queen and jack fell on the flop and he failed to improve, leaving him with around 1.5 million heading into the break.
