After making the great call to win the last hand of the fourth level of the day things turned south for Phil “USCPhildo”Collins. His nearly 600k chip stack to start the 4th level of the day was down to the felt in less than an hour of play at the 3k / 6k blind level. Word around the table was that he ran into a rough strecth of hands, losing a pot to Jimmy “Gobboboy” Fricke, a flip to another player and then getting finished off by a player with a gutshot straight that got there.
Collins wasn’t the only elimination during level 14 though. Shane “Shaniac” Schleger (right) was having a great tournament, but his run ended when his pocket aces fell to the flush draw of Quinn Do that hit. Jared “TheWacoKidd” Hamby had been grinding along all day holding steady but never able to really get much above 200k. His day recently ended and Haffa “Hafizzle” Khan also vacated a seat from the same table as Hamby. Steve “MrSmokey1″ Billirakis, Cody “thugmoneymkr” Slaubaugh, and Shannon Shorr still make the table a tough one, and the replacement players for the bustouts are no slouches. Chris Bell and Steve Brecher have been added to the table along with Evan McNiff who busted Hamby.
Jared “SoxNation83″ Mahoney (left) and Annie Duke have also made their exit from the tourney, joining the many players eliminated here during day 3 play.
Blake “Balla-B13″ Cahail came out on the good end of kings into aces nastiness. Alex Keating (not the guy from Family Ties) ran his kings right into Cahails aces, and after the board made sets for both of them Keating was sent to the sidelines while Cahail saw his stack grow to almost 1 million chips.
Markus “LURPED” Gonsalves (right) got a big double up at the expense of Jimmy “Gobboboy” Fricke. On a board showing 7

Markus bet 60k and Jimmy raised enough to cover the remaining 120k chips Markus had behind. Gonsalves took a moment but called with his T

and Jimmy had to turn over his Q

for queen high. Jimmy had six outs on the river but didn’t hit and Markus double to around 450k while Jimmy’s stack fell to just under 400k.
