P5ers Take Over the World

Okay, that might be a slight exaggeration, but we are doing seriously well! Adding both Keven “Stamdogg” Stammen (pictured right) and Brock “t_soprano” Parker’s bracelets to the mix brings our tally up to four bracelets over 14 events–roughly 30% of the bracelets awarded thus far.
Now we don’t necessarily want to count our chickens either, but with essentially half of the 17 players remaining in Event $15, the $5K NLHE event, it seems entirely possible we’ll pick up bracelet #5 today, or, at the very least, be sweating some of our guys at the final table. Official chip counts have been released from the end of the day and here is how the players we are covering break down:

As you may remember, the players left in the field were forced to settle for only a nine hour break before they pick play back up at 12PM.
Also kicking off at 12PM is the only new event on the agenda today: Event #19 $2.5K 6-Handed NLHE. Some of the players in that event today will include Jonathan “FatalError” Aguiar, Mohsin “chicagocards1″ Charania, Clayton “clayton27″ Newman, Kyle “thetruth503″ Zartman, and Jesse “Jmaster30″ Cohen.
Not to mention we have Day Two on tap for both the $1K Ladies’ NLHE Event and the $10K Omaha H/L World Championship. Both of those tournaments are scheduled to return at 2PM today to play down to a final table. With several P5s rooting interests in both, we’ll be sure to bring you frequent udpates on those as well.
