P5ers Eyeing Bracelets Today

As usual, we’ve got a full slate of action for you today at the Rio.
Steve “McNallyville” McNally and Robby “PlayaPlz” Lipkin were eliminated just before play ended on Day 2 of the $1,500 Six-handed event, leaving eight players to return for the final table which kicks off at 1 pm PT today. One of them vying for the $428,259 prize is P5er Bryn Kenney, who will sit down with 656K in chips, good for fifth most at the table. Chip leader Charles Furey has 1.69 million chips. It is Kenney’s first ever final table at the World Series of Poker. All it takes is confidence.
Daniel “amichaiKK” Makowsky takes the chip lead into the final day of the $2,500 Pot Limit Hold’em/Omaha event. Makowsky has 561K in chips, while Rami “arbianight” Boukai (508K), Jamie “thecronic420″ Rosen (178K), Amit “amak316″ Makhija (126K) and Hevad Khan (63K) are still alive. The remaining 18 players will return at 1:00 pm and play until a champion is crowned.
Jimmy “gobboboy” Fricke, Eric “EFro” Froelich and Mike “SirWatts” Watson (pictured right) are near the top of the leaderboard in the $10K World Championship Mixed Event. Day 2 will begin at 2 pm and we’ll attempt to have a final table in place by 3:00 am.
The $2K NLHE Event #11 restart will also get underway at 2:00 pm. A slew of P5ers will take their seat when play resumes, including Patrick “BigRed0000″ Stemper and Scott “stpauli111″ Hall, who are the top two chip leaders going in. Tyler “tydean” Smith, Jared “TheWacoKidd” Hamby and Faraz “The-Toilet0″ Jaka some other big names looking to reach their first WSOP final table. We’ll have a full list of players for you in the next hour.
The $2.5K NLHE Event#13 has just started. Some online stars we’ve seen take their seats include Kevin “kice32″ Iacofano, Chad “lilholdem954″ Batista and Kevin “BeL0WaB0Ve” Saul. Close to 1,050 players have registered with more expected in the next 90 minutes.
