After being down 7 million chips, Amit “Amak316″ Makhija has climbed back to put himself right at even with John Phan.  In the pot that put the players both right around 5.5 million John opened for 300k and Amit called to see the A92 flop.  After both players checked the flop Amit led out for 400k on the 5 turn.  Phan called and with the 6 river Amit again led out, this time for 1 million.

John Phan made the call on the river and Amit quickly showed A6 for two pair.  Phan held onto his cards, flashing an ace and not wanting to let his cards go.  Finally Phan tossed them both onto the table showing A7.

After the hand John was visibly distressed about the way things have been going for him the last 15 minutes, in which he has seen a large chip lead dissipate into the air and Makhija pull back to even in the chip counts.
