The World Series of Poker Europe presented by Betfair is down to 46 players. The remaining players just finished the fourth level of the day and are now on a 90 minutes dinner break. They will come back and after coloring up and racing off the 100 denomination chips play will resume with blinds of 2k / 4k with a 500 ante.
Eric “P3achy_keen” Liu and Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger are at the main feature table while Christian “CKRUEL” Kruel finds himself at the feature table. Those guys are getting a lot of camera time, but even though he isn’t at a feature table right now Jason “treysfull21″ Mercier has had a camera and mic pointed in his direction for almost all of the last level. Mercier was active throughout the level, opening many pots with his standard raise to 7,200 but he wasn’t able to gain much ground and finished the level just under 100k.
At the same table Christian “charder” Harder is also around the century mark, moving in after an opening raise to 8k and one caller to pick up enough chips to push his stack to about 110k. Yevgeniy “Atimos” Timoshenko took a hit but still has almost 500k and one of the largest stacks in the tourney. Kruel has quietly built up to around 160k.
Jonathan “FatalError” Aguiar (left) did not survive the level and after a full day of downward trending he was eliminated oh so close to making the money.
Play slowed a bit in the level as players sensed the upcoming money bubble, and as the tournament continues on the weight of each decision becomes more and more important.
