Jared “TheWacoKidd” Hamby (pictured at left) and Jason “treysfull21″ Mercier are sitting in the 1 and 2 seats respectively at the table and the man in Seat 4 has already decided he thinks they are both terrible. He keeps slipping comments under his breath about what donks they are and has called them some nicknames that just plug don’t make sense. Jason told us he was already referred to by the man as “Captain Crunch” and “Chewbacca”. We still can’t quite figure out the former, but we’re guessing the latter is because even Jason admitted his hair is looking a little shaggy these days.
The insults aren’t the only thing flying at the table. We caught a big hand early on involving Jason and his nemesis in which a player in middle position raised to 150 with the blinds at 25/50, another player called and Mercier reraised from the hijack to 650 total. The player in the cutoff then moved all-in for his last 1,125 and the player on the button called. The initial raiser and overcaller folded and Mercier thought a minute before electing to call.
Both players checked the A

flop, but when the 6
fell on the turn Jason led out for 400 and his opponent called. The river was the 9
and Mercier bet 950, inducing a fold from his not-so-biggest fan. Mercier took the side pot and showed A-J for top pair, but the all-in player had him outkicked with A-Q. The side pot helped Mercier to minimize his losses and he is still sitting with 4K.
Justin “jurollo” Rollo tried to minimize his losses in a hand we caught the tail end of late in Level 1. In a heads-up pot with a board of 9

the other player bet 550 and Justin put in a raise. The other player moved all-in and Rollo reluctantly called.
“Got a boat?,” Justin asked.
The player said nothing but did turn up his 5

to show that he did in fact have sixes full. “Swet turn,” Justin deadpanned as he turned up 7

for the straight. He was down to 1K in chips after the hand and headed to his new table in the Blue section for a fresh start in a new place.
Matt “mattg1983″ Graham tried to take down a big pot early on when he and another player got heads up in a raised pot. We missed the reflop and flop action, but caught up with the hand in time to se eMatt bet 625 on the turn with board reading A

and the other player called. The 8
on the river double paired the board and Matt checked to his opponent. The other player bet 1K, Matt made a small raise, the other player moved all-in, and Matt called. They both held aces full of eight to chop the pot, but Matt was none too pleased to see that his A
Q
was ahead of the other player’s A

until the river.
We’ve got an early elimination to report. Carter “ckingusc” King told us he lost a few pots early on and ran the rest of his chips into a flopped set holding pocket aces to knock him out of the event 20 minutes in.
