After the early table break most of the empty seats around the room were filled in. Shaun Deeb was sent down to the poker room and filled the 9 seat at a table with Steven “MrTimCaum” O’Dwyer in the 1 seat, Nick “fu_15″ Maimone in the 2 seat, Mike “Timex” McDonald in the 3 seat and Noah Boeken in the 4 seat. Not the easiest of lineups to be dropped into.
Deeb (right) was able to win a good sized pot in a hand where the player in the 5 seat opened to 600 from mid position another player called and Deeb raised to 2,225 from the small blind. The initial raiser called and the two players went heads up to the T

flop where the action went check check and the 2
hit the board on the turn. Shaun led out for 2,625 and was called, building a larger pot as the players went to the K
river. Deeb led out again, this time for 4,550 and was raised to 12,025. Shaun took a long time before finally making the call and showing his A

. The other player mucked his hand and Shaun’s long thought out decision ended up being the right one.
Nick Maimone was also faced with a raise on the river of a board showing 8

. Nick had bet 2,850 and Noah Boeken raised to 9k. A frustrated Maimone thought the decision through, asking if Noah had backed into a flush. Finally nick decided that he most likely had and folded showing the 9
but not his other card. Boeken turned his hand in facedown and collected the pot.
Noah stayed active during the level, a few hands later putting in a 4-bet preflop. Maimone had opened to 500 from the button and Mike “Timex” McDonald raised to 1,500 from the small blind. Boeken then tossed out 5 of the yellow 1k chips for another raise and both Maimone and McDonald gave up on their hands.
After getting a player to fold a set face up earlier, Justin “Boosted J” Smith was able to eliminate a player with a set of his own that he had no intention of folding. On the turn of a K-6-5-8 board Justin bet 2,400 and a short stacked player moved in for the last of his less than 10k chips. Smith instantly put his stack out to make the call and turned over his pocket eights for a turned set. The other player had AK and was drawing dead.
Also on the losing end up against a set was Joe Sebok. He had a set too, but his set of fours was not good against Ram Vaswani’s set of eights and that ended the day for Sebok. Over at the feature table (pictured: 1 Seat - Annette, 3 seat - Daniel, 6 seat Barry, 8 seat - Mohsin Charania) it looked like Barry Greenstein was going to bust Daniel Negreanu when the two were all in with Barry’s flush against Daniel’s set, but Daniel hit when the board paired and was able to double up while Barry dropped back to 25k.
