Eric “basebaldy” Baldwin’s phenomenal World Series of Poker has come to an end here on Day 1D of the Main Event. Baldwin (pictured right) was short stacked midway through Level 3 and moved all in for his remaining chips with pocket jacks and was called by a player’s A-K. The flop and turn were kind to Baldwin with the turn even giving him a spade flush draw, but the river Ace wasn’t a spade and Baldwin was eliminated. The 25-year old had two final tables at this year’s WSOP, including one win, for a total $781,466 in prize money and his first gold bracelet. Congratulations to Eric on a great summer!

We finally found Eric “Blizair” Blair playing a pot today and it was a profitable one for the online star. On a board of K32J a player bet 1.5K and Blair raised to 4.8K. The player called and the 3 his the river. Blair’s opponent checked, he bet 9.2K and the player called. Eric tabled JJ for jacks full and his opponent mucked. Blair is up to 64K.

Tables in the Red Section are beginning to break and Robert “PlayaPlz” Lipkin has relocated to Scott “mindwise” Pendergrast’s table. One player who remains in Red is Scott “SCTrojans” Freeman. Freeman opened for a raise pre-flop and was called by a player in the blinds. The flop fell KQ2 and both players checked. The turn was The 8 and the player in the small blind led out for 1.6K, Scott called. The K on the river paired the board and the player in the blinds fired 4K. Freeman threw his hands in the air.

“I’ve made WAY too many big folds today,” Scott said. “WAY too many.”

Freeman threw his head in his hands but eventually made a crying call. His opponent rolled over KQ and Scott flashed AK before mucking.

“That was an easy fold,” Freeman told himself. “Easiest fold of my life!”

Blake “Balla-B13″ Cahail (pictured left), who is seated at the same table as Devin “tranquilchaos” Porter and Nam Le in the Brasilia Room, bet 4K on the turn with the board reading Q827. The player in seat two made the call. The turn was the 3. Cahail led out for 10K this time and, after a few minutes of thought, his opponent made the call. Cahail turned over 77 for a turned set and his opponent mucked. With the pot, Cahail increased his stack to about 75K.

Justin “jurollo” Rollo recently tweeted that his table hated him (and probably his growing stack as well) and we may have caught an example of why that is. Rollo and another player saw a flop K84. Rollo’s oppenent bet 1.5K and Rollo called. The turn was the A. The other player bet 4K. Rollo then raised to 12K pretty quickly and his opponent wasted little time before mucking.

Adam “Roothlus” Levy’s stack has been slowly dwindling today. The cutoff raised to 800 preflop and Levy made the call from the button. The flop was K64. The cutoff bet 1,625 and Levy called. Both players checked the 3 on the turn and the A came on the river. The cutoff bet 3K and Levy folded, dropping down to about 15K.

We found Jeff “Mrrain” Banghart in the Orange Section of the Amazon Room. Banghart is off to a good start and recently forced an opponent all in with the board reading A8754. The player folded and Jeff scooped a pot which pushed him over 60K in chips.

At an adjacent table Allen “AawwNutz” Carter made a very nice call on the river. A player in middle position limped in and action folded to Carter who raised to 1K. The blinds folded behind Allen and the limper called. The two checked a 965 flop and the limper lead out for 800 after the 5 turned. Carter called and the 2 fell on the river. The limper bet 1.4K and Allen went into the tank. Carter studied his opponent carefully, eying the man as he sat back and took a swig of his Red Bull. Allen decided to call and his opponent mucked as soon as his chips hit the pot. Carter tabled AJ and pulled in the pot.
