Take it to the Limit

Brock “t_soprano” Parker are Shawn “sbuck21″ Buchanan are in contention for their first World Series of Poker bracelet as Day 3 of the $1,500 Six-handed Limit Hold ‘em event gets underway at 1 pm PT today. Parker (pictured right) goes into the day fourth in chips with 335K while Buchanan sits near the bottom of the leaderboard with 118K. The chip leader is Tommi Horkko with 509K while Daniel Negreanu is close behind with 470K.
The restart of the $2.5K NLHE Event #13 will also get underway at 1:00 pm. Keven “Stammdogg” Stammen, who at one point yesterday was sitting in front of three big blinds, currently has 729K, good for fourth most with 20 players remaining. Brett “threatnasty” Switzer (456K) and Garrett “GBecks” Beckman (356K) have plenty of chips to work with as we will play down until a bracelet and $506,786 are awarded to the winner.
The $5K NLHE field is loaded with online superstars and each will take their seat this afternoon. Our final chip count list last night left a lot to be desired as many players snuck out before we could speak to them, so we will have a full list for you in our next update. Faraz “The-Toilet” Jaka (172.2K, pictured left) and Jason “JCarver” Somerville (159K) are among the chip leaders with 164 players remaining.
The remaining 97 players in the $1.5K Stud Hi event will return at 2 p.m. Jason “treysfull21″ Mercier, who seems to be building stacks in everything he plays this year, is one of the chip leader with close to 40K while Bryan “badbeatninja” Devonshire has 8K.
Finally, the $1,000 ladies event has just gotten underway and over 1,000 players have registered so far. P5sLive’s own Jessica “doomswitch83″ Welman is playing today along with Maria “Maridu” Mayrinck and Amanda “blondechick20″ Leatherman.
