and Lichtenberger bet out 680K. Moon raised to a total of 1.5 million and, after some thought, Lichtenberger moved all-in. Moon called and showed KK
and Andrew was trailing with his JJ. The 6
on the turn brought no help for Andrew, nor did the 7 on the river and he was eliminated in 18th place, earning $500,557.
And just as quickly as Ben “benba” Lamb won those chips off of Steve Begleiter, he gave them back and more. Begleiter raised to 425K from the hijack with the blinds at 80K/160K ante 15K and Lamb reraised to 1.1 million from the cutoff. Begeleiter called and then checked to Lamb on the J95 flop. Lamb bet out, Begleiter quickly moved all-in for around 7 million chips and Ben called with AA. Begleiter showed J9 for top two pair, which held as the board ran out 3 then 8. Lamb was left with just 4.4 million once the stacks were counted down while Begleiter moved up to 16.6 million.
Jordan “scarface_79″ Smith seems to be enjoying his new seat at the secondary feature table. In addition to being one of the most talkative people there, he also had the good fortune of doubling up a few minutes ago. Smith opened for a raise to 420K from under the gun and Billy “Patrolman35″ Kopp reraised to 1.5 million from the cutoff. Jordan moved all-in and Kopp quickly called. It was the classic race situation with Jordan holding QQ to Kopp’s AK. The board ran out JJ988 and Smith doubled up to around 15 million while Kopp dropped down to 16 million or so.

Both players checked a J72 flop and Maimone firfed 750K when the 7 fell on the turn. Begleiter made the call. The 9 hit the river and Maimone fired 800K. Begleiter quickly made the call with AJ, which outkicked Maimone’s KJ. Nick was still left with 10 million after the hand.
