The $2K Limit Hold ‘em Event (#38) is midway through Level 2 and players are still strolling in. Some to arrive late were Brock “t_soprano” Parker, Andre Akkari, and Daniel “amichaiKK” Makowsky.
David “Doc Sands” Sands is seated with David Levi, Paul Darden and Teddy “The Ice Man” Monroe roday. We hope has brought his headphones. While action has been pretty slow thus far Sands did get involved in a pot. Hemade it two bets from the cutoff and action folded to the big blind who called. The flop fell 8

3 and the big blind checked-called Sands’ bet. The turn was the T
and again the big blind checked to Sands. David bet and was almost beat into the pot by his opponent who called. The river was the 5 and the big blind checked a third time. Sands thought for a second before betting again. The big blind called and David showed T7. Sands’ opponent mucked, and he scooped the pot to push him above the starting stack.
