Ben “benba” Lamb continued to knock out players left and right. Granted, for this most recent elimination Dennis Phillips deserves credit for at least an assist. Phillips took most of Steve Sanders chips when they got it all-in on an A-X-X all clubs flop with Sanders holding top set of aces to Phillips’ pocket queens with the Q
. The J
on the river completed the flush to double Dennis up and leave Sanders with only 125K. He proceeded to get that last 100K in on the next hand and Lamb isolated with A

. Sanders was in bad shape with A

and failed to improve as the board ran out 9

. He was eliminated while Lamb added even more chips to his stack. He is now up to 7.5 million.
Jonathan “driverseati” Tamayo and Brad “Fatsofat6969″ Craig (pictured right) went to battle at the ESPN secondary table and one player was sent home. Tamayo raised to 160K in early position and Craig made it around 500K to go. Tamayo quickly moved all in, having Craig covered, and Craig called instantly:
Craig: A

Tamayo: K

The dealer rolled out the Q

flop and Craig stood up from his seat and paced back and forth behind his chair. The 4
turn was no help, and when the 9
fell on the river Tamayo showed some rare emotion with a fist pump as Craig walked over to collect his payout ticket. He earned $138,568 for his 50th place finish. Meanwhile, Tamayo is up to 7.5 million chips. We’re waiting to see if another P5er takes Craig’s seat at the featured stage.
Here are some other chip counts we managed to grab from midway through Level 27:
Billy “Patrolman35″ Kopp - 16.5 million (he is the overall chip leader with 49 left)
Joe “jcada99″ Cada - 10 million
Ben “benba” Lamb - 7.5 million
Nick “fu_15″ Maimone - 4.5 million
Jamie “The New” Robbins - 3.3 million
Blair Rodman - 1.6 million
