“All in and a call on 239!”
We heard this and darted to the table to see Jason “JAKoon1985″ Koon (pictured at left) stick his last 11K in the middle. The board read 3
3
Q
A
and Koon’s opponent revealed 3
3
. Jason tabled A
Q
and was drawing dead. He was collecting his things when the 5
rivered, and wished everyone good luck before hitting the rail.
At a nearby table, Justin “BoostedJ” Smith put in an over-bet on the river with the board showing J
T

A
J
. There was 3K in the pot before Smith added 3.5K. His opponent was the same person who hero called Jamie “mmwawa” Kerstetter earlier, and again he called a big river bet. Justin showed K
Q
for the nut-straight and his opponent flashed the J
before mucking.
A few hands later Smith made runner-runner flush on a J

board. Justin raised on the flop, the turn went check-check and Smith led the river. His opponent called and Justin rolled over K
6
for the winning flush. After raking in those two pots, Smith sits with 56K.
Annie Duke arrived moments ago. She is sitting next to Keith Lehr and across from Steve Dannenmann.
Action is picking up over in the Amazon Room.
Ben Fineman had lost at least a third of his starting stack, but herebounded with a double up recently. We missed the preflop and flop action, but we caught up with Fineman and another player on the turn. Ben’s opponent checked to him on a board reading K
Q

and Ben bet 3K into a 4.5K or so pot. The other player check-raised to 12K total. Fineman thought for a minute or two and moved all-in for 17.9K total and the other player called with A
K
for top pair with the nut flush draw. Ben showed 5
8
for a flopped flush, but he needed to fade a heart on the river in order to double up. He did just that when the river fell 8
and he now has 35.5K. If Ben’s past week is any indication, he is playing well and running well. Fineman just took down a $2K buy-in Bellagio Cup preliminary event for 98K plus a 25K entry into the WPT Championship next April. According to Ben’s Twitter, there was also a “baller watch” involved as well.
Daniel “wildman75″ Buzgon took a small hit to his stack when theplayer under the gun plus one raised to 600 with the blinds at 100/200, a player in early position called, and Buzgon called out of the big blind. The flop was T

and Daniel checked to the initial raiser who bet 1.2K. Both the third player and Buzgon called and the trio checked around after the T
fell on the turn. The river was the K
and Buzgon led out for 3,750. The initial raiser called and the third player folded.
“Ace king is good,” Daniel said as he mucked his cards. The other player showed his pocket queens, which were apparently also good as Buzgon said nothing while his opponent raked the pot.
