After taking a beat at the hand of Matusow and dropping to below 200k, Mohsin “chicagocards1″ Charania (left) was able to battle back and pick up enough pots to climb to 300k before running kings into aces. Matusow was involved in this hand as well, but didn’t have the aces or kings, he had the third highest pair and covered the other two all in players but was in rough shape with pocket queens.
Charania hit his king, but Jacobo Fernandez flopped a set of aces at the same time Mohsin hit a set of kings. Matusow was left with 300k after the hand while Charania was sent to the sidelines in 26th place, earning $43,235.
Since his elimination the fourth level of the day has played out and the field is down to 23 players. David Benyamine and Chuck Kelley were the latest eliminations and after a break the final 23 will be back to play out the last level of the day.
