After battling with the short stack Adam “Akatz11″ Katz was all in on what turned out to be a rollercoaster of a hand. Adam “Roothlus” Levy had opened for 1,800 and Katz moved all in for somewhere around 10k give or take a few thousand. The action quickly folded back to Levy who put out a handful of 5k chips to call as soon as it was on him.
Katz knew the snap call was a bad sign and when the cards were turned up he saw his A
J
was behind the Q
Q
Levy held. On the A-J-2 flop things had turned around for Adam and he was almost a lock to double up. A trey on the turn changed nothing but Levy hit a 2 outer with the Q
on the river to make a set and win the hand. The best hand when the chips went in held up in the end, but in the interim there was a fair amount of excitement in both directions. The dealer wasted no time getting the cards out once the players were all in though, causing Levy to comment “It’s like being on Party Poker.”
