Yevgeniy “atimos” Timoshenko’s stack in the $1K Stimulus Event just got healthier in the Brazilia Room during the past half hour. Working with just over 3K chips and the blinds at 100/200, Timoshenko got his money in preflop with A
K
against an opponent’s 6
6
. The board ran out K
Q
5
9
2
and Yevgeniy doubled to more than 6K.
The WTP Championship winner was able to increase his stack to close to 12K just as Level 5 came to a close. Timoshenko and another player saw a flop of K
6
5
and he bet out for 1.5K. His opponent put him all in and Timoshenko made the call with A
A
and was way ahead of K
Q
. The A
fell on the turn, putting a stamp on the hand and giving Yevgeniy the chip lead at his table.
Chris “moorman1″ Moorman wasn’t as fortunate. Moorman shoved the remainder of his chips in the middle preflop with K
J
and his opponent called with 6
6
. The flop of Q
9
7
was very fortuitous, and the Q
on the turn brought even more outs. But a third queen, the Q
, came on the river and Moorman hit the rail.
We’ve been wandering around every room grabbing chips counts from Event #4 and put together a nice list. Enjoy!

WSOP Event #3: $1.5K Omaha H/L
A growing concern in the Amazon Room is the absence of tonight’s basketball game. Certainly a few wagers have been placed on it, but the players are unable to watch it. Finally one of the closer TV’s turned to it as a floorman announced, “We got it!”
Besides sports betting, there is also poker running on the floor. Jordan “Octavian_C” Rich is on a heater in the $1.5K Limit Omaha H/L Event, and recently scooped a big pot. Rich and three players saw a flop of A
8
8
, and Rich led out. Both players called. The turn was the 3
and Rich bet again. This time only one player called. The 9
fell on the river, and no low qualified. Rich bet a third time, and his opponent quickly called. Rich turned over A-8-3-4 for a flopped fullhouse, and his opponent revealed the case 8 before mucking. Rich raked in the 40K pot, and now sits over 60K.
During the break, Chris “SKOAL” Falconer approached us to tell us that despite taking two big hits back to back, and dropping to 17K, he has since doubled to 34K. Falconer told us both hands occurred in the blinds, and he held presumably the second nuts. Annie Duke continues to rake chips in. She recently eliminated fellow pro Max Pescatori, boasting her stack to over 60K.
Annie Duke (70K), Brock “t_soprano” Parker (60K) and Marion “MYBLUEDOG” Busch (36K) are plugging along as the field has thinned to 98. The top 90 get paid.
