In a heads up battle that has been going on for 4 hours, there have been plenty of ups and downs with both players doubling up on multiple occasions. So far the final blow has not been landed though and Jonathan “FieryJustice” Little and Jonathan Jaffe continue to fight it out for the title.
With the chip counts around 8.7 million for Jaffe and 3.6 million for Little (left) an all in pot came up. Little had raised to 500k and Jaffe called. On the 9
5
3
flop Little check raised all in over the top of Jaffe’s 600k bet. Jaffe called and showed the Q
9
for flopped top pair, but Little’s pocket jacks were better than the nines and held up on the A
turn and 2
river. After the hand Little was back in the lead with 7.2 million to Jaffe’s 5 million, but it wasn’t long before the chips shifted again.
Little had again raised to 500k preflop with the blinds still at 100k / 200k and a 20k ante. Jaffe came over the top with an all in bet of 4.2 million and Little made the call after a pause. When the cards were turned up Jaffe was ahead with his A
J
against the A
3
of Little. The better hand held up and Jaffe was able to regain the chip lead at 8.5 million chips to the just under 4 million for Little.
