The Best Jimmy Fricke Hand Ever? by Rachel on 07.10.09, 6:42 pm

Matt “Mcmatto” Affleck told us that if we reported on this hand involving Jimmy “gobboboy” Fricke (pictured at left) we could probably just take the rest of the day off.

Naturally, we asked Fricke for the details. He told us that the player in seat two raised to 4.2K and the player in seat three call. Fricke looked down at K-4 offsuit on the button and raised to 17K. Seat two folded and seat three made the call. The flop was 9-8-6 with two spades. Seat three checked and Fricke bet 26K. Seat three called and the turn was a non-spade 5. Both players check and the river was an non-spade 3. The player in seat three led out for 45K, which was about half of Fricke’s stack. And Fricke called.

The other player mucked immediately and Fricke showed his king high to take the pot. At last check he has about 330K in front of him with the blinds at 800/1600 with a 200-chip ante.

Frank “Round42″ Rusnak
(pictured at right) has also been adding big chunks of chips to his stack. Rusnak raised three or four hands in a row at his table, which includes Cody “CalBandGreat” Shedd, including this hand. Rusnak made it 4.4K and the player in seat seven called, as did Shedd. The flop was T95. Rusnak checked and the player in seat seven bet 10.4k, later telling Rusnak that he had started the hand with about 90K. Shedd folded and Rusnak raised to 26K. After a few minutes of thought seat seven moved all in and Rusnak call instantly with his TT. His opponent turned over QQ. The turn was the 5 and the river was the 8, giving Rusnak the pot and increasing his stack to almost 400K.

Robert “Camas Goose” Goodson was among those eliminated Amazon Room during the past hour. Goodson got his remaining chips in with 88 against KJ preflop. The A556 board looked great for Goodson but the river brought the K to send him on his way.

Shawn “sprstoner” Glines (pictured at left) and Mark “markysals11″ Salinaro were also eliminated

Frank “Frank1The1Tank” Calo found himself seated with Alexander Kostritsyn and Josh Arieh this afternoon and hasn’t shied away from playing pots with the two superstars. He got involved in a hand against Kostritsyn during the past hour. With the blinds at 800/1600 ante 200 Kostritsyn raised to 4K and Calo called. The flop brought 8|6h}4 and Calo led out for 6.5K. Kostritsyn called. The turn was 9 and Calo bet 12K. Alex called again and the dealer flipped the 3 on the river. Calo agin fired this, time for 28K. Alex cut out the chips from his stack, held them loosely in his hand and then rolled them into the pot to make the call. Calo tabled TT. Kostritsyn smiled and mucked his hand, sending a nice pot over to Frank, who increased his stack to 210K.
