Granted, it took until the final level of Day 2 to identify Jonas “Klausen” Klausen as a P5er, but better late than never right? It’s probably a good thing we found him, too, as he’s the chip leader going into the final day of the $1,500 No Limit Hold ‘em Event #34.

Tournament officials once again halted play at 3:00 a.m. local time with 21 players still eyeing a gold bracelet and prize of $521,932. Klausen leads the way with almost 1 million chips as a handful of P5ers look to overtake him on Thursday. Play will resume at 1:00 p.m. Vegas time. Others still going strong include Eric “basebaldy” Baldwin, Joe “jcada99″ Cada, Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier, James “mig.com” Mackey and Andrew “allofit29″ Youngblood.

Cada sent a player home just before play concluded for the night. Action folded around to Dean Bui in the small blind who moved all in for his last 80K with blinds at 6K/12K ante 1K. Cada quickly made the call with A5 and found himself up against the T6 of Bui.

The A83 flop gave Bui a flush draw but the 5 turn and J river sent him home in 23rd place.

Unfortunately we lost Jonathan “therookieqq9″ Plens on the last hand of the day. We were busy watching Baldwin and Mackey go to battle across the room but we witnessed Plens heading over to claim his $15,242 afterward. Baldwin won the pot against Mackey but James escaped without any major damage done.
