Hanks, Mizzi, Clements All Fall Short

The eliminations had been coming along at a steady rate, but the field stalled out with 116 players left, only 16 away from being in the money. Scott “BigRiskky” Clements, Brent “bhanks11″ Hanks, and Sorel “Imper1um” Mizzi were all among the players that were busted out of the tournament short of the money on day 3.
Mohsin “chicagocards1″ Charania has been up against it today, running into Liz Lieu and pocket aces twice already. He also came put in a 3-bet preflop only to be called. The pot was checked down after that and on the board ended up being 9 high when a 9 hit on the river. Mohsin showed his AK only to see he had been called preflop by K9 and then rivered out of the pot.

6 flop Amit bet 11k when it was checked to him and Phil called. With the 5 turn both players checked and on the T
river Phil check called a 23k bet from Amit. Makhija showed the K6 and Phil mucked his hand before pushing his chair back and walking away from the table. He returned to tell Makhija he had called him with ace high and berate Amit’s play. Justin “Looshle” Pechie hopped in the conversation, commenting on Phil calling a 3-bet earlier out of position with 9-4. After a brief moment or two of banter both players let it go and went back to their iPods and concentrating on the current hand.
A shortstacked Andy “BKiCe” Seth was able to move all in preflop and pick up a pot and give himself a few more chips to work with, but will still be looking to make something happen soon to build enough chips to be back in a spot to contend for a final table appearance.
