Luke “IWEARGOGGLES” Staudenmaier played a couple of big pots right before the field was reduced to 5 tables of 9 players each. In the first pot Luke opened for 27k and a player called. The big blind then moved all in for 170k more and Luke put out the 170k to call. The other player folded his K

giving his opponent a slew of outs, though two of his club outs had been folded face up already. The turn was one of the remaining clubs, and once the 2
hit Luke was drawing deap. After losing the hand he was down to around 600k but quickly regained the lost chips.
Right before the redraw at 45 players, Luke was involved in a monster hand with Jacobo Fernandez. On a turn of T

Luke was all in for 220k with about 600k already in the pot. Fernandez folded, leaving himself around 350k while Staudenmaier was able to pick up a lot of chips and push his stack over 800k.
After the redraw the players were seated across five tables, and it didn’t take long before another full tables worth of players had been sent to the rail. Among the eliminations were Barry “barryg1″ Greenstein (right) and Jonathan “FieryJustice” Little. Greenstein was short stacked and moved in with pocket sevens but ran into the queens of John Hennigan. The queens held up to eliminate Greenstein in 38th place for $36,030. Little was sent to the rail one spot before Greenstein, finishing in 39th place for the same $36,030 payout.
Mohsin “chicagocards1″ Charania was able to dodge a Chino Rheem set to preserve his stack and is still sitting with around 300k after tossing queens on a jack high board. Hunter “The_Hunt_D” Frey is seated to the immediate right of Staudenmaier, both having over 800k in chips.
