Barry Greenstein’s aggression was rewarded when he won a coin-flip in level three of the 2k NL WSOP Event #23.
With blinds at 100-200, Greenstein led out for 700 on a Q
7
6
flop. His opponent raised 1600 more and Greenstein moved all-in, covering his opponent who called.
Greenstein tabled the A
T
, racing his opponents K
Q
. Greenstein made his flush, busting his opponent.
Greenstein is currently at 14k.
Jason “JCarver” Somerville (pictured right) is in all-in mode as his stack has been reduced to two yellow 1k chips and one blue 500 chip, a stack he was happy to show off in his hand as i walked by his table.
“Its never a good sign when i can do that,” said Somerville with a smile.
Somerville’s day started off much better when he built the initial 4k starting stack to around 9k before losing a 16k pot with top two pair on the flop against aces, which flopped a gut-shot straight draw.
Blair “blur5f6″ Hinkle has accumulated one of the bigger stacks with 23k in chips. Hinkle picked up a nice pot before the end of level 3 when minraised his opponents preflop bet of 700 to 1400. After much deliberation, Hinkle’s opponent called, leaving only 1200 behind.
Both players checked the A
6
K
flop and Hinkle put his opponent all-in for 1200 after he checked the 7
turn. Hinkle raked the pot after his opponent folded.
Here are some notable chip stacks at the conclusion of level 3 as 750 of 1,344 remain.
