Nine players have taken their seats under the bright lights of the ESPN Featured Stage as the $10K Pot Limit Ohama final table is underway. Matt “mattg1983″ Graham is the chip leader with 1.4 million chips while Barry “barryg1″ Greenstein is 8th in chips with 780K. Richard Austin, the winner of the $5K PLO event last week, is third in chips with 1.1 million, while Vitaly Lunkin is also in contention to win his second bracelet of this year. Lunkin won the $40,000 NLHE Event (#2) and is currently sixth in chips with 850K.
Meanwhile, the $1.5K NLHE final is underway at the secondary feature table. The two P5ers, Ray “WirdPair” Foley (pictured left) and Alex Jacob, are the two chip leaders with 2.8 million and 1.6 million, respectively. Foley eliminated Shawn “sprstoner Glines in 12th place when his pocket aces bested Glines’ pocket sixes after all of the chips went in before the flop. That gave Foley the commanding chip lead of the tournament. Players will be finishing up the current level before going on their 60-minute dinner break.
WSOP EVENT #41: $5K NLHE Shootout
Peter “Nordberg” Feldman was eliminated by Danny Wong when Feldman moved in with pocket fours and couldn’t outrace the A-Q of Wong, who made a straight on the river to punch his ticket to tomorrow’s final table. The only P5er still playing is Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger, who is heads up with David Pham at Table 10 in the Amazon Room. Pham holds a 2-1 chip lead.
